This lamp shines 95% of its light in the air, instead of on the floor. This is extremely annoying as it blinds you when you walk close to the lamp. You also get big light spots on the ceiling and walls around the lamp. But on the floor, very little light... very very little light... The body of the lamp itself is nicely finished and the electronic in it is almost decent, but this lamp clearly needs a reflector added so that it will shine most of its light on the floor, where it is supposed to go. For this price, I was expecting much better than this. The seller thinks this is absolutely normal... I have a different opinion.
